I think people who would intentionally cause that kind of hurt to a person are evil.
Trouble is, not quite sure what one can do about ugly bullies like that, apart from be as polite as possible to them before firmly shutting them out of where their behaviour is not welcome.
There’s a fella who works on site who has severely crippled legs and I have to admit he catches my eye for longer than it ought … There will be the people out there who point and snigger and say he looks funny but when I’m looking, I see the guy who through sheer force of will is keeping himself out of a wheelchair. And I respect that willpower a lot 🙂
We need a bit more looking out for other people, instead of the “Me First!” attitude that seems to dominate society nowadays.
